What a year it has been!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The world continued to face monumental challenges in 2023, marred by pervasive geopolitical instability and great human tragedy, as well as the ever-pressing need to address climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite this, European vehicle manufacturers continued to innovate, invest, and secure jobs in Europe, supporting local communities and sustainable economic growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am truly impressed by the resiliency of our industry and the people behind the vehicles we produce \u2013 the real changemakers driving our sector’s massive transformation towards zero-emission mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What a year it has been for ACEA, too \u2013 we made massive strides, ensuring the collective voice of our industry was front and centre in turbulent times marked by a multitude of new regulations. To culminate the year, we were buoyed by news that Nissan will join the ACEA family next year. We also topped it off with launching our visionary manifesto for the EU’s next five-year term, ‘A Competitive European Auto Industry, Driving the Mobility Revolution<\/a>‘.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am proud of the results we achieved together and the hard work and commitment put in daily by all our members and the ACEA team as we stride towards a greener, more digital, and more competitive destination for all Europeans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We’re excited for the next phase in ACEA’s journey as we tackle existing and new challenges in 2024 and beyond. With a new European Parliament and Commission next year, ACEA and our partners will be at the forefront of providing solutions to the societal challenges we face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
