Electric vans saw a modest 4.2% growth, now capturing 6.2% of the total van market. Electric truck sales rose by 29.5%, now capturing nearly 2% of the market. Electric buses recorded a 10.3% growth, with their market share at just over 12% of all buses sold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Manufacturers alone cannot tackle the decarbonisation challenge. To advance the transition, policies that support both supply and demand of vehicles are needed. Policy makers must establish the right conditions, including a dense network of suitable charging stations, effective carbon pricing, and incentives for transport operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACEA
